YouTube Shorts cut off at 60 seconds (and most viewers decide in the first 10). Recording a 90-second script and discovering it doesn't fit wastes your whole session. This calculator uses standard words-per-minute rates for narration — slow documentary pacing (~120 WPM), conversational (~150 WPM) and energetic fast cuts (~180 WPM) — so you can trim or expand your script with confidence before recording.
